CATL has unveiled a light commercial EV battery that it claims can charge from 20 to 80 per cent in less than seven minutes. In parallel, the Chinese battery giant is building a combined network of fast-charging and battery-swapping stations and aims to have 4,000 locations operational in around 190 Chinese cities by the end of this year.
