General Motors and Redwood Materials are extending their battery partnership with a second-life energy storage project in Michigan. Around 100 repurposed GM EV battery packs will provide 1.5 MW/7.2 MWh of capacity at a GM manufacturing plant, supporting lower energy costs and grid resilience.
